According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Bengals worked out former Giants wideoutHakeem Nicks today.

Nicks caught seven passes in his six-game reunion with the Giants last year, after his disappointing 2014 stint with the Colts.

In fact, it’s been a really long time since the 28-year-old former first-rounder has really done anything to help a team.

Thanks a LOT, Nippleshorts!

lol I dont get why every one wants another wr. yes I get this thread is sarcasim, but I am talking in general.  with KB coming back, theres not going to be enough passes to go around.  its bad enough that funchess might not get enough to progress this season.

The motley crew of receivers dropping passes in the Super Bowl is still on people's minds. I think WR should be pretty low on our list of priorities, but I understand wanting a true sure-handed receiver added. Philly's the surest handed of our top 4 right now which is less than ideal. And in theory, we should be adding competition and trying to improve every single position.

I agree.  Cotchery out Benji in.

KB, Ginn, Funch, Philly, Bersin/Hill/Byrd

add Olsen, Dickson and Tolbert out of the backfield and I don't see where another WR fits in?

We gonna throw the ball 50-60 times a game like Indy or NE?

(AP) — It had been a while since the Carolina Hurricanes had finished practice, with players coming and going from the locker room. Yet Logan Stankoven was still on the ice, leaving a crowd of reporters patiently waiting at his locker. Such is the dynamic for the 23-year-old as the Eastern Conference's top seed heads into Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs to face the Philadelphia Flyers. Stankoven has been rolling at nearly a point-per-game pace going back to mid-March, including scoring in every game of Carolina's first-round sweep of Ottawa. Beyond the immediacy of that spotlight, though, is the other piece of Stankoven's story: the Hurricanes are betting he can keep growing into the role as second-line center, coming after spending multiple seasons searching for an answer there.
