Show of hands, how many of you believed Manziel had talent enough to be a NFL QB?  With that said, why are we acting like this dude ruined his opportunity in the NFL?  One way or the other, either his hard partying habits or just his lack of NFL QB aptitude, Manziel was going to be out of the league sooner rather than later.  Tim TEbow is an infinitely better QB than Manziel ever was and can be.

I'm definitely not a Manziel fan but as a qb he's infinitely better than The Golden Calf of Bristol. The Golden Calf of Bristol is probably the worst starting qb from a passing perspective that I've ever seen as a starter in the NFL.

Wish I could find my post I made way back before he was drafted where I predicted how his NFL career would likely play out... and damn if he hasn't made me look like Nostradamus.  Following what I predicted to a damn tee.  I mean, I actually hate being right here because it seems like he's got some serious problems and is really blowing a once in a lifetime opportunity most can only dream of... but the writing was all over the wall with this dude.

I never do that sort of thing with college players (he's the only one actually) but this dude was screaming bust if anyone touched him in the 1st round or expected him to be a starting QB.  It was just amusing to me especially because ESPN, etc. was doing everything they could to hype him up (even saying he could potentially go top 3... lol) and many saying "oh he's just a kid" when we faced some nasty double standards with our own QB.

His Kardashian-esque approach to fame backed by being born with a silver spoon in his mouth never left for wanting anything in life and not really "needing" the NFL to have a poo ton of money combined with coming into a league that will eat you alive if you give it anything less than your all - especially at QB.  Pretty damn bad combination for the NFL.

If that's what they consider destroyed, I'm glad they never saw my college apartment. We knocked the damn walls out of that place, destroyed furniture, left God knows what sitting out....that place looks like me and a buddy had a couple or drinks now, minus the coke.

except he doesn't have the talent, even if johnny was straight edge and dedicated his whole life to football he wouldn't be more than a 2nd or 3rd stringer, then again if he just went that route he would last because of his Heisman and would still be a god whenever he set foot on A&M's campus. oh well, now whenever I think of johnny ill think of partying hard and that one time Luke hit him so hard he just decided to quit.
