Was watching NFLN this morning and with the crowded backfield in TN, there's a good chance there might be some fat trimmed. With JStew as the starter in '16, but an unknown future on the horizon, would you feel confident in signing one of the young backs if they were released?  Would they be an upgrade over the trio of Fozzy/CAP/Wegher?

They've spent a ton of draft capital on RBs in the last 3 years. 2016 2nd(Henry), 2014 2nd(Sankey), 2016 4th(Murray), 2015 5th(Cobb). Didn't realize it was that much and Antonio Andrews, the UDFA, is probably the 3rd best one.

To answer the question, yes, I probably would take any of them over Wegher or Fozzy, possibly CAP, just based on talent, but I'd need to see them in camp first which likely won't happen. They probably won't cut any of them until the final cut down to 53 at which point it's too late for me to take a flier on one of them when CAP/Fozzy/Wegher are perfectly competent. I'm definitely not giving up a draft pick for one of them.

Biggest issue is that they would be waived and there is a very slim chance they would make it to us in the waiver order with us having the 31st priority so if we actually wanted one of them we would have to give up a pick in a trade. We already gave up our 7th in 2017 for Norwood so I can't see DG giving up another pick(he said something similar after day 3 of the draft) for someone that is in all likelihood a minor upgrade at best.

I would allow any one of them to compete, but honestly they are probably good depth. The Titans have given Sankey and Andrews the opportunity to take the starting job. They obviously weren't too impressed, getting not one but two players that are higher on the totem pole.

Cobb is the only real wildcard (though there is now at least some degree of questions of durability), and I don't think that they'll just let him go. 

At this point, for me, CAP and Wehger have more upside.

Please explain how any one of them are more talented.

Artis-Payne, in his few opportunities, averaged 4.1 ypc and a 45-1 carries-per-TD ratio in 2015.

Whitaker in his few opportunities averaged 4.3 ypc and a 25-1 carries-to-TD ration.

Cobb?  2.8, 52-1

Sankey? 3.6, 47-1

Andrews? 3.6. 48-1

I ain't seeing the greater talent.  

Were they more talented in college?  I dunno, but CAP was the SEC's leading rusher in 2014.  Most yards in the toughest college conference in the land.  Hard to show more "talent" than that.  (Looking at Cobb's college stats they are comparable.  But better?  Nah.)

      Oh please with the wallowing in victimhood I'm going to take my ball and go home routine. You were just in here referring to people as super weird haters because they don't completely agree with your borderline delusional spin on what Bryce Young is and isn't as a fourth year starter. We can hope by some miracle that Bryce Young will actually be able to lead a formidable passing offense this season without being irrational homers and pretending verfiable data and what we have seen with our own two eyes doesn't tell us exactly what he has been to this point which is someone who moves the ball at a historically low rate.

      I am curious who's behind all of this though. A video and photos from years ago surfacing? Someone has a vendetta and is driving this PR campaign. I'm loving it, but I'd also like to know who said mystery figure is.

      I say positive things about Bryce when he earns them. Which he has a handful of times. It is all here and on the record but your lobby won’t focus on that or the flat out truth inside of our critical comments.  It is a constant thing with him and his backers - one or two good things and people are trying to extrapolate that to proof we should commit to him, while ignoring or making excuses for the larger portion of his track record.  When he is able to consistently turn in franchise QB extension worthy outings the tone of the posts will reflect that.  I have already said that if he would play like he did in the WC as often as we need him to, I would be okay with keeping him.  See you don’t want to talk about that though because it shows actual fair minded evaluation not stanning.
