I am going to die on the "a rookie qb needs to sit" hill because I am right. Sure there are exceptions obviously and sure "sitting" can mean various timelines. But a rookie qb will never be hurt sitting 6 games or the entire year just to get your sea legs. I think simply seeing how fast the nfl is from the sidelines, processing what is actually happening, listening etc is crazy important -

We’re 6 games into their careers. it’s never as good as you think it is. It’s never as bad as you think it is. im stoked right now, but let’s pump the breaks on this.
