Expect big things from James Bradberry

The learning curve is real, but one thing about cerebral guys, "Once they got it, they got it!"

It may not be this year, and definitely not in September, but I believe that league analysts, execs and fans are going to be asking themselves in reference to Gettleman drafting Bradberry, "How did he know?"

It's just going to solidify that Gettleman is the elite evaluator extraordinaire that he thinks he is, and function as the in-yo-face-flip-the-script moment for his critics who had plans to use Bradberry's drafting as a means to detract from Getty's drafting prowess.

Critics: "He's getting too big for his britches!"

Gettleman: "I think not,bitches!"

Hasn't had to cover the burners much as they play in the slot. Sanchez has been handling them pretty well.

Ah gotcha, I read some tweets about him matched up against ginn sometimes. May have been mistaken or didn't happen very often.

Yes, yes. Glad you mentioned Coach Wilks in there. He was the main reason I was fine with us drafting all of these rookies. I watched him coach the DB's at training camp this year and I felt like I could go out there myself and make play. He is an outstanding coach and the guys will benefit greatly from his tutelage.

It's gonna be nice, when we look back at this draft in three years, and realize how much of an absolute steal Sanchez was for us. That kid is an out and out ballhawk. Can't wait to see all three in the regular season, but I'm going to pay very close attention to Sanchez for certain.

    • We don't have to tear down Dak to appreciate what Bryce did yesterday. Dak had 0 running game. If the cowboys were better, he'd be a legit MVP candidate if he keeps playing this way.  They did it with Ceedee last year, but they do a better job of anybody we play consistently of getting their best receiver off Jaycee.  Bryce was good too. If we just catch the ball that was intercepted, we probably win by 7+, and Bryce goes over 200 yards passing.  Biggest shift the last few weeks has been play calling. I thought Canales abandoned the run game way to early at times last year. This year he really seems to be sticking with it.  I still think Chuba is better at making 4 yards when there's nothing there, but Rico is better at making 30 yards when there's 6 there. I like the direction. Hopefully we can get Moton, Sanders and Coker back and really be dangerous. Our play action game is pretty deadly right now.  Unrelated: My favorite quality about Bryce right now is his ability to see the defensive hold and throw the ball there. He EXPOSES the officials when they don't call it. That one on Tetaroia yesterday late in the game was a bad miss on their part.
    • That sacks allowed number lookin juicy!
    • This is a game the Panthers should win... just the sort of game they lose. The Panthers have a bad habit that goes back years of playing down to the competition's level only to mess around and lose the game. The Jets game should be taken very seriously! But I want to enjoy the fact that they beat the Cowboys for at least another day or so!
