getting more clicks on their site.  Seems to have worked.  :)

 

Although Norman leaving does impact it a little I guess.  He did make a lot of big plays for us early in the season last year when the offense was struggling.

Packers at #4 is laughable. You could argue for any of the top 3 teams to be ranked there above the Panthers, but not the Packers.

The ranking is based off the votes of 80 ESPN writers/analysts. I highly doubt there is a 80 person conspiracy to get clicks by putting the Panthers at #5.

Not saying there is a conspiracy. Just saying there might not be much logic behind the choices. Just making a ranking to create some content during a slow period. Even if good thought did go into the rankings, not a big deal.
