Remember this guy? The so called Super fan of the Panthers?

Back in 2003, he won a trip to the super bowl..  once in a lifetime trip. Good for him.

This past year he called up the Panthers to pay for his trip.. He was denied.  So he starts a go fund me site to pay for his expenses on the promise he would donate some tickets to Panthers games this coming year.. Well it's preseason.  Instead of honoring his promises he decides to sell his tickets.. I mean I'm no one to judge anyone but I call them like I see them and I say this is done seriously horse poo.

You mean to tell me that you can't offer these preseason,  yes PRESEASON,  tickets to someone that donated for your twice in a lifetime trip instead of selling them?

I honestly feel bad for the people that gave this man money. Dude is just as bad as a politician.  :/

@Lilsmitty09, lol you're popular.  XD

I went to high school with is son and he was always at our football games....I think it's more of someone who has been living above their means for quite some time now and it's finally catching up so he's trying to cash in on whatever little fame amongst fans that he can...he has always taken the whole "super fan" role to seriously like charging people for pics and poo. He's a good guy personally but yea that sucks

Just now, Doyle said:

Go fund me should be for legitimate charity cases only.  I despise what that site has become and the losers that start up pages on there.

There are some good ones.  Some are so good you would think they were fake.

Like the "we spent all our money on lottery tickets" one

I came in here thinking it was a sarcastic title and Catman did something really good for the community or something..

now I see this and am not sure about him, but am not gunna condemn him yet.. if he doesn't offer up any regular season tix it might start looking a lil sidewayz.. now that i think about it - if he only offered up his preseason tix in exchange for a trip to the SB - i might even be looking a little more sidewayz..

    • Miller being less raw and more pro ready makes sense of why they picked him. With us having a capable starter in Walker the lower floor higher ceiling player makes sense for us as well. I agree with that.
    • I'm from Michigan and have had this discussion with my Lions friends, and they all agree with me, they were never going to take Freeling over Miller.  As, yes, you are correct, they could have left Sewell at RT and taken Freeling, but they are in a SB contention window right now. An OL with Freeling at LT and Sewell at RT is not as strong as Sewell at LT and Miller at RT would be for this upcoming season and likely at least next year as well. 5 years it could be looked back upon as a long term "mistake" to take Miller over Freeling, but for a franchise like the Lions, you can't worry about the long term when you have current SB aspirations.  It's all about maximizing their current SB window over the next 1-3 years. And it's not about style, it's about day 1 readiness, and a lot of "experts" aren't even sure if Freeling is ready to play Week 1 yet at the position he's used to, let alone switching to a side he hasn't played before, but a career starting RT is going to be more than ready to fill that role for them Week 1. I'm 100% convinced that if our draft positioning was swapped, we'd have still taken Freeling, they'd have still taken Miller, and both teams would have got the OT that they preferred due to what each team needs right now and what their current realistic aspirations are for the 2026 season. We're in a position where we can let our drafted OT sit and learn for a bit, they needed a week 1 starter, for me that's where this discussion becomes very easy to understand why each team took the player they did.
