Romo is a No Go

But seriously, it's getting to the point that even I have to feel sorry for Romo. Botching the snap in the playoffs, utter futility just getting to the playoffs, having every good moment countered with a choke job and a body made out of toothpicks and tissue paper. Worst of all, I get the feeling that fans will cast him aside if Dak shows some signs of competent QB play.

Honestly, once Dak started showing out, I felt like that was the beginning of the end for the Romo era and they'd find a way to start Prescott's...  and here we are.

I hate the Cowboys, but I've always felt like Romo was a good, humble dude and do I hate to see his body betraying him the way it has.

Might be a good thing for the Cowpokes in the long run.  They find out what they have in Dak, and if he sucks, they have a shot at Deshaun Watson next year.

They'll have to get in line behind the Falcants and Taints. Those boards have already started crying for Watson, and I smile every time the threads get longer

Yeah, I am sure they are wanting to get Watson.  If they do, we will start hearing how he is like Cam but better.  But Brees is still good enough that the Saints won't challenge for the 1st pick.  Atlanta won't take a qb.  With Romo down and Jerry Jones as a general manager/owner, the Cowboys will be in excellent shape to get the top pick.  I have heard that the kid at Miami is going to be a good NFL qb as well, although it certainly didn't seem that way in the two Hurricane games I watched.
