I kept hearing people complain why he's still on the team this offseason.  People were putting Wegher and even Scoot Simmons ahead of him on their mock rosters.

Well guess what, he showed up last season in the playoffs and he just ran for 100 yards and showed more explosion than any RB we've seen in a while.  He's not a workhorse or a bruiser but for the time being, he's proving to be our most valuable asset outside of Cam in the run game.  He found holes and took them.  Sure he lost a fumble but can we start to recognize he is bringing a dimension to our offense that no other RB we have can offer?

He's been on the team this long for a reason and he showed it.  He was a big part of why we put up 46 points.

Fozzy played well today. Congrats on your 100 day Fozzy...

Magnified by the fact that he came back in after getting checked for a concussion.  The guy took big hits and kept on tickin'

Love me some Fozzy.  He was my adopted Panther last season (guess we're not doing that this season??)  Happy to see him succeed and put up some nice numbers.

Yes, me too. We're going to need that behind Stew bc he can't stay healthy for a full season. Maybe sit Stew and let Fozzy and CAP have at it till Stew is 100, we'll see...

    • Bryce and Dave will determine how many games this team wins next year. It’s not on the WRs. The RBs. LBs. This is about 2 things: 1. Can Bryce continue to come up big in the few key downs that decide most games?  2. Can Canales evolve his play calling to counter punch like the big boys do. Half time adjustments.  teams that score 30+ points on the regular win more games than not. That’s on Bryce and Dave. The offense is top 10 at every position group, save for TE and QB. A baller TE is gravy but not crucial when the receivers are dudes.  The defense is the defense. It’ll be better this season, hopefully by a large margin, but Dave/Bryce is really where it’s at.
    • Normally I'd wholeheartedly agree with this. But I feel like teams figured out this offense after the Raiders game. Bryce was so inept the first 2 games that we couldn't really even run the offense. Dalton's first game showed what we had. But after that game, coverages got a lot tighter and windows were smaller. When Bryce came back in, his ability to extend plays made a big difference. It's really difficult to stop a QB that can beat/escape 1on1 tacklers. It puts a lot of pressure on the defense when you blitz. And he was completing throws in tight coverage with anticipation. Point being Bryce wasn't throwing to wide open receivers that were schemed open by the offense. Occasionally yes. But not often.
    • With the additions we've made to our roster combined with the state of the division and the conference as a whole there is no excuse for this team not to make a legitimate push for 8-9 wins. Anything less is honestly inexcusable. There will be no more free passes for being a doormat in this iteration of the league where even mediocre teams are competing for playoff spots.
