Did Delaire Just Take A Shot At Cam?

I have a lot of friends on social media who aren't thrilled with Cam's stance, or i guess their percieved lack thereof, in his posts and comments yesterday.  I still havent watched or heard the presser, so I can't speak to it as of yet.  I did see his IG post about Kap, and I didn't see anything wrong with it upon first glance.

Anyway...

2 minutes ago, Mr. Scot said:

Newton made a lot of very intelligent statements in his press conference yesterday.

That same evening, some guy was threatening that all Cam Newton jerseys would be burned if Newton stood up for the national anthem this Sunday.

That's the position Newton is in.

Few weeks ago I stumbled onto a BLM page with hundreds of comments calling Cam Newton a "coon."

If I were completely transparent, I'd say none of this is actually feels like its about somebody being shot.

Guy who was talking about burning Cam's jerseys called him that too.

Per Voth, there were reports from witnesses that he made other vague threats about Newton, but the video only shows him threatening to burn jerseys.

I'm just tired of this debate. Cops have a tough job and are mostly over worked and under paid. I totally agree they should be held accountable for there actions but burning, looting, and kneeling is not the answer. Cam should not be answering these questions, our politicians and government should.

However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down.
