That is on the GM. KK is also pissed about what happened to Norman. He looked up to Norman.

LOL. Even in the midst of me joining you on the Gettleman sucks bandwagon you still throw out obnoxious fabricated stuff like this his.

Perhaps KK just sucks now.

the gettleman rage is like the people who were just wishing their lives away crossing their fingers that the FO was going to pick up the phone and have a tearful reunion with greg hardy.

i can understand why you're pissed off but as a veteran of this team being this maddeningly frustrating to watch for half a decade at a time i need to share something with you:

this franchise moves at a glacial fuging pace when it comes to major firings and that's the way ownership likes it, especially if there's been any kind of success while the coach/GM/whatever has been there (not to imply that gettleman has ever done anything good before somebody gets butthurt).  nothing is going to happen with gettleman any time soon so long as richardson is alive.  rivera will be sacrificed first and we're years away from that even happening.

so, bring a snack

I have been totally supportive of the regime, but its clear mistakes were made, namely not retaining Norman or maybe drafting a solid pass rusher that could have gave us immediate help.

Also the playcalling has gone back to horrendous.  When I can sit at the top of Section 539 and pretty much predict pass or run that aint good.

I still think Ron is a good coach and have faith he can turn this around.

One year of performing below expectations (We were going to take a hit in 2014 talent-wise, anyone who thought otherwise was just stupid) and you want to fire the guy who has done nothing but pull us out of cap hell, put together 3 consecutive playoff teams, and take us to the super bowl all on a budget? I'd rather not.

One positive thing about not signing anyone this offseason is that money will roll over to next season. Maybe this offseason he invests in a FA pass rusher or top tier O-lineman. I don't know. But with how KK and Ealy have played thus far, they aren't getting the payday they think they deserve, and I have to commend Gettleman for not caving and splurging on KK because imagine how bad it would look if he did.

If he sits on his hands again next offseason and does nothing to address our holes and issues, then I'll be pissed off too. Until then, this is pretty much the same team that went to the super bowl last year, minus some aging vets and Josh Norman, and Norman isn't the reason we aren't winning these games. This is on the coaches and players thus far.

    • Yeah not taking that Burns trade was infinitely stupid. We seem to be finally righting the ship but, imo, our biggest issue since Tepper bought the team has been coaches and management having a poor understanding of where our own roster is at. Starting with that idiot Rhule drinking his own kool-aid and thinking he was going to come and take the NFL by storm with Teddy freaking Bridgewater. Could have just kept Cam on the last year of his contract and gone from there but noooo that fat slob had to feel like he was the big man on campus. First round wizard Marty Hurney who, for whatever his faults, has a freaking HOF track record with first round picks, wants to trade up for Hebert but fat fug Rhule says no. Then we kept Rhule for 3 years which is absolutely unbelievable to me and every single year he treated our roster like it was just one player away trading our draft picks for Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield who have proven since leaving that Matt Rhule was an even bigger idiot of a coach than we thought. We finally seem to understand we are a ways off and trade CMC, but then we don’t take the actual good trade for Brian Burns who was never better than a run of the mill situational pass rusher. Then we botch the self scout of our OL (and team) after Wilks, even though they were bad before Wilks simplified the scheme, thinking they can execute whatever the hell Reich and Brown were trying to do. So we win a couple meaningless games playing dummy ball and Fitterer thinks we’re a player away again. And nobody even considers that having the slowest receiving corps imaginable with Damiere freaking Byrd, who can’t even make it to the season before being injured and cut, as your only hope for speed, coupled with the worst pass blocking OL I’ve ever seen, might lead to titanic levels of disaster. The way Canales and Morgan have been adamant about constantly bringing competition at every position has been refreshing and made a huge difference. I was kind of worried that we had fallen into our old ways leading up to the draft with all the talk of defense only and worried that they might feel the offense was set. Very glad to see they were not complacent on that. My big thing now is I’m still wondering why Evero is still here. I can’t think of a single player who has gotten better under him, and the Broncos defense got better once he left. We’ll see.
    • really good interview that gives some insight into their decision making process in making up the schedules and the issues they run into with so many people broadcasting games now. also some interesting discussion on what they have going on and where they might be heading in the international games. vikings have 2 of them, btw. we might be seeing more of that.
    • wow i absolutely LOVED watching that.   will watch again...and again...and again.
