A penalty is a penalty. I mean what is so difficult. NFL needs to start ref turnover every 2 seasons or something

Since they are a union, all they can do is terminate their contract right? Then hire new ones?

So I guess the NFL officials is a sort of brotherhood or fraternity, and when Cam called out Ed, they all agreed to screw over Cam for the rest of his time in the league?  Did Ed call an officials-only meeting to mandate this?

I have often wondered after all the scrutiny and importance around NFL officiating, why haven't any of the long-standing shitty refs been canned and replaced by new blood?

refs openly admitted this happened in the nba- refs had favorite players and gave more calls against/technicals against players they didn't like
