Met Roman many times when I worked for Academy Sports. He is truly a very, very nice guy.

Used to hate the guy when he originally was with the Saints but damn that time he was here he proved a lot of us wrong about him. I miss having his leadership around in the secondary and I'm happy to see just how much respect he still has for this team and fan base despite going back to the Saints.

I remember a game (might have been the 03 playoffs, if memory serves) where Michael Bates was playing for the Cowboys. Bates took a nasty shot on a return and didn't get up. The first person to run over and check on him? John Kasay.
