todays conference calls and practice tweets: Kurt Coleman is in concussion protocol

Sucks about Coleman w/ the concussion protocol.

No way he is as bad as his PFF numbers state.  As the only talented defensive back amongst the revolving door of rookie and off-the-street CBs we've played back there this year, not to mention being Boston's partner.  Toss in a journeyman Michael Huff and I'm not surprised that his stat sheet looks like crap.  Coleman is the only talent amongst 5 DBs on the field at any one time.

Agree to a degree that Coleman's stats ignore the fact he has to cover for others, but you're way too hard on Bradbury & Worley and Johnson was good enough as a Nickel when he was healthy.

Also there have been a few 50/50 balls that he's dropped that would have been INTs last year and that would affect his stats in a big way.

These injuries are bad for a different reason. Rivera and Shula will use this as an excuse when the front office (and the coaches) evaluate the season.. And this will likely be enough for Shula to keep his job... Rivera will use every possible way to keep it status quo. It's just the way it is with him - just look how old fashion and little creative his football style is

Please mr. Gettleman! Don't waste another year with Shula destroying yet another year and season with Cam in is prime

Shula calls the o the way Rivera wants him to. Getting rid of Shula will do nothing if Ron stays.

So when is an excuse also true and reality based. I doubt we have started the whole intact offense or defense in more than 1 game in a row all year. It is hard to progress and get more complicated in scheme when you have to hold back because you are starting new guys every week and have to stay with only the basics.

Ron Rivera is John Fox 2.0. Their head coaching philosophies is not going to win them a superbowl championship. Just too conservative with no creativity to win in today's NFL. It's like arguing with a old person who is set in their ways about old technology. Knowing that the newer innovative technology, is more superior and advanced than the old.

More like Fox jr. Atleast Fox 03 team performed better than Ron team despite NOT being the favorites in comparison to Ron team and Fox been to the NFCCG twice with us, in 05 WITH INJURIES

Your good as your personnel and the Panthers offense and defense relies on a strong running game, which panthers don't have thanks to a weak OL. Also DG obsession with size is killing the WR spot, we need to draft a #2 that has speed& quickness to create separation. Ron & Cam where able to mask the deficit on offense for couple of years ,but it has finally caught up. DG needs to get his act together or fired soon.
