No team has All-Pros at every position.

We definitely need a starting safety. Coleman is a serviceable safety, he just can't be the best DB on the field. That's a recipe for disaster.

OLB? Why? Are we assuming TD retire? Maybe he does, but if he doesn't we definitely don't need another OLB. We play nickel the vast majority of the time anyway and a rookie LB is probably not getting ahead of Shaq on the depth chart. That would really have people howling about a wasted draft pick.

We definitely need a starting caliber DE. Preferably a guy who can be or can develop into an elite pass rusher. Try to sign CJ to another cheap short term deal and have him and Ealy platoon at LDE and sign or draft a hell raising RDE.

OT? Abso-fuging-lutely. Gotta get a LT. Unfortunately, I think Oher might be done. I'm alright with Williams at RT and Remmers as a backup if we can get a good LT in here.

We definitely need to start considering life without Kalil. He'll be 32 next year and his body seems to be wearing down. Hopefully he has another 2-3 good years left in him, but we shouldn't count on in. If there's a mid-late round developmental guy who we think could develop into his replacement, pull the trigger.

Yeah, we need a #2 TE. Dickson is fuging trash. This offense would be in a world of hurt if anything happened to Olsen.

Agree on RB too. Stew is wearing down and has always been injury prone. Last year was his swan song. It was great to see him come back and have a great year, but it was fool's gold. I think CAP can be a decent #2 and I like Fozzy as a 3rd down back, but we need a new bell cow.

I like Adams quite a bit at safety too, but not sure if I like him top 10 good.

If we're sitting on the clock in the 1st round (top 10 for damn sure, maybe top 5) and Garrett, Peppers, and Fournette are gone, I'd be all for trying to trade down.

Those are my three guys right now. Garrett, Peppers, Fournette. In that order.

With Kalil, Olsen, Stewart and Davis getting up there in age... We need...

SS, FS, OLB, 2x DE, OT (possibly 2), C, TE, RB... Buck up for the long haul guys.

Kalil and Olsen have at least a couple more years for sure, and possibly more who knows. TD seems to as well but if not we've got Shaq. Stew will be replaced by Fournette next year. Boom baby. All set on those fronts. Do need a TE2 though.

Honestly, Fournette is the pick I'm expecting as well. I think Garrett and Peppers will likely be gone. My Tar Heel QB Trubisky will probably go #1. I'm just hoping some teams might fall in love with guys who I either don't want (Cam Robinson) or guys who don't fit our needs (Jonathan Allen, Marlon Humphrey, Malik McDowell, etc.) to push guys down the board.

Garrett, Peppers, Fournette, Trade Down

That's my 1st round draft board at the moment - assuming the same coaching staff/philosophy. Now if we're gonna go with a man cover scheme then Marlon Humphrey enters the equation, I just don't see spending a top 10 pick on a CB with our current defensive scheme.

All of these issues can be solved with the draft and FA, DG better not fug it up

Like New England you mean...actually planning to replace an older valuable veteran, draft their replacement, and then move the veteran while they still have value for more draft picks  and after the backup, has gotten experience

what a concept.

    • I’m an optimist thru and thru. I love any win this team can muster, and Bryce did what he could to keep the team in it, but he’s why the team was out of it to begin with.  I like the guy, but he is not… he’s just not it… and I was swayed by the way he finished last season, but his physical limitations will never be overcome. A one arm tackle stopped him in his tracks en route for 6, among several other plays where an even average starter in the league succeeds.  A franchise QB is supposed to be his own cheat code. Bryce needs a cheat code dude, that is not him, to win. Chuba CARRIED (literally) his ass last season. Thielen bailed him out EVERY game he played in last season. Today: Rico turned in one of the best games in franchise history, Tet was unguardable and put up at least 100 yards on his own (PI yards included),  and the defense basically pitched a shutout after going down big so they could beat one of the worst teams in the NFL.
    • Jimmy came thru today I hope he is active next week   (2) NFL on X: "Bryce Young to Jimmy Horn Jr. on 4th down! MIAvsCAR on FOX/FOX One https://t.co/HkKw7uXVnt https://t.co/FYOfsxtAMk" / X
    • Rico 10000% saved Bryce Young from being benched for the Dallas game.  The way that game was going there was going to be no way to trot Bryce out next week at home if it kept going like it did.  Bryce probably is safe from bench risk until the next home and home presents itself.    He can’t be playing bad going into that next Atl game and then lay an egg in it.
