Luke Kuechly returns to Practice

Luke has a helmet and is practicing today. He will then be evaluated to see how he responds.

I don't like. At all. There's nothing left to play for. The season is over. Why risk our best defensive player who's missed multiple games in both of the last two seasons due to concussions? Just let the guy fully recover.

Concussions are still largely a mystery. Current protocol in the NFL is that once the player performs to his baseline tests, he's good to go. But, are we sure about that? Not even a little bit. In combat sports, fighters who lose by knockout (either by ten count or technical) are automatically suspended for 30 days, three months if it is the second knockout within three months, or one year if it is the third knockout within one year.

IMO we sit Luke the rest of the season, no reason to come back to play four meaningless games. 

I will be watching these meaningless games however.

I've made the playoffs in an Individual Defensive Player (IDP) fantasy league and I REALLY need Luke to be back this week!

but yeah, for the franchise and for our star player's health, he might should sit out for the year (please don't sit out for the year!)

The kid is a competitor. He's not going to want to sit on the sidelines. Maybe they won't let him play the whole game or maybe they let him practice but do hold him out of games. But I don't see them not letting him play.

...because he loves this game and well, you don't pay him millions and millions to shut him down at the end of a season...

Bringing him back is likely the coaches trying to salvage something out of this train wreck to save their butts. This is a terrible move. The front office needs to step in.

 Based on how pissed Luke was on Sunday night I have a feeling he shoved his finger in the doctor and coaching staff's face and said "I'm playing"

If Luke gets injured either by concussion or something else before the end of the season... all hell is going to break loose.
