Ryan brothers gone in Buffalo

I guess the blood bath has officially begun with the loser Ryan brothers getting the axe in Buffalo. Rex for sure will not get another HC shot and his loony toon brother is probably done altogether.

We can only hope that at least a little blood is spilled in Charlotte...

There is absolutely no proof that Rex is a decent head coach. Any success he has had has been completely unsustainable and he has left wreckage in his wake. The only thing that makes him good is that he wasn't the worst coach to spring from Buddy Ryan's loins (who, in and of himself, was pretty overrated as a head coach).

Rex was actually a very good D.C. before getting the head gig in New York. If he doesn't go into television then he certainly could get another job being a coordinator.

If McDermott were to get a head coaching job then I personally wouldn't be too upset if Rivera would contact him about his willingness to join the staff (if he would consider switch styles and with the understanding that he keeps his mouth shut).

Somebody get on the phone to Anthony Lynn.

What is the chances of getting him if we let Shula go? With the Bills benching Tyrod for now EJ, I think Lynn would be a fool to stay with that disaster franchise. Who would then be Cam QB coach

    • I would say that seems like an odd comment from Morgan, but at the same time it's almost impossible to find a college QB declaring for the draft to have less physical ability than BY so you can assume almost anyone you bring in would be your go to QB sneak/designed run guy.
    • Gronk is the best TE of all time, but he also played with Brady. Clarke was great, but had Peyton and in an era TE's didn't make crazy money. Kittle is great, but the two times he's made the SB, he was still on his rookie contract for one, and the other the 49ers had Purdy on a cheap rookie deal which help them build the rest of the roster. So again, it's not about not wanting an elite TE, of course it would be nice.  But realistically, in today's NFL, unless that elite TE with a top end TE salary is on a team with a GOAT level QB and/or other serious cap savings (i.e. key players on rookie deals), then I think it's not a good use of cap space.
    • This place was the poo pre tepper with tons of hilarious posters like phillyB. Joined in the 2000s during the 07 season and have been here bitching about this team since. but yeah its sadly been dying a slow death, every time I come to this site I am surprised its still up. I think the 2015 season was the absolute peak, the Panthers and this board especially just haven't "felt" the same since then. Igo should really sell the board since he clearly doesn't care anymore. Also, Reddit blows and the Bryce defenders on there need Jesus.
