Yuppers. That is one thing that fans seem to forget when they are mad at Ron. He is well respected around the league. He has people he can go to for advice. Or when word gets out what he is looking for, he has people that will help him along the way.

You can pretty much put Gman in that same vein. These two have a wide circle of influence form which to draw. IF, they decide to make a change. They will have plenty of information to cull through to make an informed decision.

I mean Norv picked Chud over him so there's that too

Why would he go from assistant HC here, to DC somewhere else?  Doesn't make much sense...

It does when you consider the condition the front office left him in. They won't give him the veteran he wants. They force him to develop a stable of rookies without any veteran leadership all at the same time. He is in a hopeless situation, and I am sure he has not gotten any support on bringing in veteran CBs to help him develop the stable of inexperienced players.

You have to feel for the spot the Panthers put Wilks and McDermott in following the 2016 off season given the resources they had available if the front office agreed to it.

If Wilks follows Norman, especially if McDermott vacated the DC position, then you know there are some serious internal problems.
