Why I'm OK with an ATL-NE Super Bowl, and you can be too

Remember when we played the Broncos in the Super Bowl and lost? That Sucked.

Remember when we had to open the season on the road against the Broncos and then lost at the last second? That sucked too.

Do you guys know what AFC Division the NFC South plays next year? Spoiler alert - It's the AFC East.

Guess who is scheduled to Play @ NE next season...

If Atlanta and NE make it to SBLI then I'm pulling for NE to win because if they do, there's a high probability that the NFL will screw the Falcons over like they did us this past season. That way Atlanta will get to feel the long hard dick of the Super Bowl Hangover just like we did.

I'm still pulling for GB this upcoming weekend, but if Atlanta wins then I'm pulling hard for NE to meet them, and ultimately beat them.

What if atlanta loses to NE in the super bowl and they don't schedule them to open their season there? I'm sure Rivera will go crazy since he complained about the scheduling basically all season

Nope - can't agree. I won't pay much attention during the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl anyway, but I sure as hell don't want to hear about the Falcons. It's already bad enough that Matt Ryan is probably going to win the MVP.

In the long run, the further Atlanta makes it, the worse their draft position.  I still want them to fail miserably however.

There's a part of me that has considered that my disparity of hatred between new england and Atlanta is so small that I don't know if I totally loathe the idea of being spared from more Brady/Belicheat gurgling for the next few months, and I mean, the inevitable "YOU GUYS ARE THE ONLY NFCS TEAM WITHOUT A RING!!!' is kind of nonsensical anyways given our youth compared to the other teams (and the fact that we've been there more than them in that time)
