Makes sense in light of the fact that they haven't hired one by now. 

I wonder about their GM job. Are they the team that said they're going to let the HC pick the GM, or am I imagining that?

Nick Caserio didn't seem to want a part of it.

I kinda would like to see him as the GM, McDaniels as the HC and Garropolo as the QB, just to see how it work out. I guess that's not going to happen now.

McDaniels backed out too, citing family concerns (didn't wanna move his kids cross country).

Of course, there could also be York family concerns...

Figured they had to be waiting on Shanahan or McDaniels. 

Hope it's Shanahan, he's done wonders for Matt Ryan and that Falcons offense. Yes they added Sanu and Coleman has come around, but playcalling has made a HUGE difference and Shanahan is one of the best in the league (like his dad).
