i would be ok with this if Fournette and Adams is gone...i think Mccaffrey ability in the slot, in the backfield, and special teams plus his speed would help this team greatly. That said drafting him is like taking a more talented Fozzy and I can see how people would not be ok with that at 8.

Yeah, we don't agree on much.  But, there is no way in Hell they do this.  Just doesn't make any sense at all.  I mean, Gettlemen can be stubborn and downright stupid at times.  But no way.

It's not completely out of nowhere. Our new WR coach...

Taylor coached standout running back Christian McCaffrey throughout his three-year career at Stanford, and now the two-time All-American is looking for a home in the NFL.

“I think he’d look great in Panther blue and black,” Taylor said with a laugh.

McCaffrey, who finished with 6,987 career all-purpose yards, was a versatile weapon for Stanford, creating big plays as a runner, receiver and returner.

“He made my job so much easier,” Taylor said. “I love Christian as a person and player. He’s great because of how he works and prepares. I’ve said this to people, he reminds me of Luke Kuechly with his work ethic and leadership on and off the field. He’s the first one in the building and the last to leave. He wants to study, he wants to perfect his craft. That’s what makes him special.

“I know he’s going to have a ton of success at the next level. I would love for it to be with us. But I’ll be cheering him on wherever he goes.”

    • lmao that's a good point; but at the same time I think and HOPE Canales learned from how he operated last year, only giving us one real look against the Bills that had people shouting 'Super Bowl'...only to come out flat.
    • I mean the whole defense was trash, he was at least trying. Besides if you put a all-pro among 10 PSers, that all-world will look human. It's very hard to judge very bad units and find the best players among them. Horn and Mjack played well too, there was 0 pass rush and -1777784 run defense.
    • I was looking back and seen Evan Neal has made the switch to OG after awful years at OT.......I wanted him over Icky for his tricep alone..... I was 100% stroud too, I was super pissed about his record setting and playoff leading start......I had arich vastly over the midget BY too. But right now, BY is about the only one on the up&up. The Texans used lots of prime draft capital to help Stroud.  It's still not ready. But if you're honestly about past drafts, these GMs are not alone in making mistakes.  I still feel they should stayed put and allowed Carter to fall in their lap, but best I know Tepper had the worst rage about landing a QB for the past 5 years. The deal is with the correct coaching staff, Baker or darnold would still be here....Baker has signed 3 years for 100 million, which is a great NFL QB contract. Tepper hiring rhule and his shitty Baylor/temple staff was a massive setback given rhule was in control too. Then panic set in an d fitteerererererer had to make a winner and find a QB. Ugh.....I hope they are back...
