Bust of a signing. Thought it was a great move when it happened to add to our DT rotation and it seemed he'd really fit here and play well but man was that wrong. Too bad. Didn't invest a whole lot in him so not a big deal. KK (assuming he's tagged), Star, Butler and Love form a great position group, and at the time we signed Soliai we didn't have Butler or Love. Though in hindsight we should've just targeted bringing back Love from the start as he's shown to be a valuable piece here.

DG admitting he made a mistake and the signing didn't work out! Glad he can do that! Now maybe he can admit the same with the OL and sign somebody that can actually block!!

Had $1.5M about to be due for workout and roster bonuses. Panthers shed that and $1M base salary, only eating $1M signing bonus. Full savings $2.5M.

Because cutting guys like Cason, DeCoud, Underwood, Trusnik, Sanchez, Bene, both Boykins, etc. doesn't count?
