Besides Peppers, is there a bigger pussy on this team than Godfrey?

Man, this guy was getting pushed all over the place tonight. He looks like he belongs on the girls JV tennis team with some of those "tackles" he tried to make on Dallas receivers. He was constantly out of position and when he got run over in the middle of the play after taking another bad angle he invariably took another defender out as well.

If you're going to suck ass it's one thing, but if you're sucking ass and causing others to come down to your level, that's something totally different. Honestly, I'd rather see C.J. Wilson, Nate Salley or Mike Minter on one leg than have to watch one more missed tackle or busted coverage from Godfrey. Total waste of a roster spot.

I think my favorite play of his tonight, was when he rushed the A-gap on a blitz. I looked at my brother (who's a Cowgirls fan) and started laughing. He asked me what I was laughing about, and I told him Godfrey looked like the kid from Home Alone, arms flailing in the air and everything. Needless to say, after watching the replay, he started chuckling as well :D

    • Predictions from the Observer writers  i am sad   I wish the Panthers had one, just one, game changing hero on their roster …one player that isnt ok with losing …there aren't any Steves,, Lukes,  Cams, Thomas’ on this roster    When  a team has a roster and there isn't one jersey that sells, there arent any heroes if there are, today is a good day to show up   From the Oberser  Fowler: Packers 30, Panthers 20. Carolina will hang around for a while for this one, but the Packers — a legitimate Super Bowl threat — have just too much firepower. Kaye: Packers 31, Panthers 20. Green Bay feels like one of the true Super Bowl contenders in the NFC. The Packers’ offense is dynamic and the defense continues to improve. With a banged up O-line and an unpredictable defense, I’m not sure it matters who is at QB for the Panthers on Sunday. The Packers should win at home in convincing fashion. Zietlow: Packers 35, Panthers 28. I predicted last week that the Bills would win in lopsided fashion. They were coming off a two-game losing streak followed by a bye. The Panthers, conversely, were due for a regression after three great weeks. This week, after refocusing, I think the Panthers will put up a strong performance. I also think Rico Dowdle will get the majority of the carries and that the defense will play much better against the run. The Packers will still win, but the Panthers will leave Lambeau with their heads held high.
