The Falcons D-line was terrible, Jarrett impact was minimal. Congratulations Jarrett is like Ealy the could of  should of SB MVP.

Chiefs' defensive stats WITH Dontari Poe on the field in 2016

-Yards per play allowed: 5.4

-Yards per carry allowed on runs up the middle: 4.5

-Opponent's percentage of run plays on third down: 48.7

Chiefs' defensive stats WITHOUT Dontari Poe on the field in 2016

-Yards per play allowed: 6.0

-Yards per carry allowed on runs up the middle: 5.3

-Opponent's percentage of run plays on third down: 62.5

Poe's impact doesn't show in stat sheets

This says a ton. Can't judge a 3-4 NT by stats.

People talking about his ranking... are we talking PFF ranking? Because keep in mind, their #1 nickelback last season got cut a week ago to save $1.6M in cap space and remains unsigned.

They're gonna be in for a rude awakening when they realize we still got Star, Kuechly, Shaq, TD, Short, etc and likely draft Adams, Hooker or Thomas.

Funny thing is, 300 year old Peppers had a better pash rush grade than Vic Beasley last season, yet they act like Beasley's some sort of all-pro DE.

Yet Beasley got shut out twice against us by Daryl Williams...

Panthers allowed 402 points falcons allowed 406. Let's not get it twisted tho Carolina is better at getting to the QB, but that doesn't mean much if your defense is still allowing on avg 25 points. I would definitely take the falcons current db over the Panthers anyday of the week.  Now the D line for them is shaping up, and they have draft picks left to improve the edge. Panthers are sleep at the wheel tho. Missed the chance to drastically improve and sat back and watched while the division made moves. Also the falcons have been drafting really well and I looked at their cap numbers next year and holy poo do they have a lot of money coming up and free. It sucks bc we play in the toughest division in the NFL.  It won't be easy to overcome the falcons or bucs especially when both of those teams have play makers on offense. We got to do a better job drafting and growing players. We should definitely take a page out of the current falcons book tho they have drafted about 80% of their starting line up. That's how u fuging build a team.

    • Not in same league. Caldwell just hit a 10.00 on the RAS. 2nd out of 3830 from 1987 onward.  https://x.com/MathBomb/status/2027885023387349047 Yeah I mean Louis had a sub 9.00 RAS. Still very very good, no doubt. Louis is small, no 2 ways about it. He is likely a sub package lb in nickel packages or specialized WLB. Be fine ST gunner to start for sure. 6 foot flat and 220lb is pushing it for a starting LB. At 10 to 20lbs less than the other LBs he'd better be closer to the top in most timed drills. He's gonna be challenged when some of the wrs in the class can matchup bigger stronger faster, much less TE in the run game.  Yeah instinct matter and he has them, but that size is a massive red flag compared to many of the other LBS in this class.    Rodriguez is the LB that really climbed this week from a pure grit guy to great flash with athleticism people wrote off cause he was a QB at first at UVA. 18.4mph in the backpedal. Production the last 2 years were great. I'd be thrilled with him as the future mike.   Hill likely moved out of 51 and into the top 45 picks ( Ravens at 45 I can't imagine don't bite if he makes it there). Honestly Hill imo is a 1st rounder and I'd be ok with him as he fits the MLB we have missed the last few years. People would crow it's a reach but he's top 30 all-time I'm RAS for a LB at 9.9+ . Plus he was big time in big games when he was healthy. And that br a big check: meds.
    • Miller, Melo, Coby, Moose, and Bridges all on the floor at the same time must be a nightmare for defenses lol. Switch one out for Kon and still a nightmare. Coby really does bring a true 6th man value and looks like he could start if Melo was out after only a few games of getting his feet wet.
