Fournette or OJ Howard?

I cannot name a single defense that adjusts their game plan for any single TE in the NFL (not even Gronk since he cannot stay healthy). Whereas a monster a RB can force a defense to change their coverage and gaps.

Fournette can change the way our offense operates significantly and that can only help Cam significantly.

I go with the monster.

I'm no Shula fan in the least, but I actually think he would utilize the 2nd TE more in the passing game if A) we had a better #2 TE and B) if we had a better LT. Evidently he's been hounding the front office to upgrade the #2 TE spot.

Hopefully B is taken care of. Now to get that better #2 TE.

Still... Leonard Fournette no matter what. Give me a Jordan Leggett or Bucky Hodges a little later.

At this stage, I think any TE drafted in the 2-4 rounds would be a significant upgrade over Dickson and at a cheaper cost.

Yeah, Dickson has been a real disappointment. He had a 500 yard season in Baltimore, but that's the big exception looking at his career. I just never understood why we held onto him. He's a receiving TE, just not a good one. If we were going to use him almost exclusively as a blocker, we should've went out and signed an actual blocking TE.

Howard, since he'd be a sure fire star on our offense.

Fournette could be as well, but his bust ratio for our style is high as well. Rather go with Howard and the sure thing

Second great TE would do wonders for our offense. It'd be like Gronk and Hernandez except with murders only occurring on the football field.

I am no draft expert, and I could be wrong, but I am not sure the league will allow us to pick two players at 8. However, I think it is worth a try!

Fournette.  Especially with the shoulder injury for Cam, you've got to believe that we're gonna be a big run first team to start next season.  On top of that, Howard is great, but I'm just not sold on him.  I mean, stats aren't everything, but they sure as hell are something.  Just give me the best RB, get cam under center, and revamp our offense.
