She's been doing good work for awhile and getting better all the time. Up and coming local sports reporters and local radio isn't nearly as bad as many make it out to be. Lots of good interviews and guests hosts that give great perspectives. People (not pointing a finger at you) are missing out on a lot of good information.

Been reading her Twitter and her stories for a while now. She's pretty good so far.

I'm shocked more people don't know who she is.

I really hope Gettleman doesn't trade up in the early rounds this year.  We have three picks in the top 40 and 4 in the top 100.  That's awesome.

Depth is an issue on this roster and every time you trade up it exacerbates that problem.  Young, cost-controlled talent is the lifeblood of an NFL roster.

This is a deep enough draft that we could very well be drafting quality contributors / starters in the late 3rd / early 4th rounds.

Howard is possible, but a lot would have to happen. He isn't their top choice, or next top choice, or the choice after that choice.

It seems like the defense is top heavy in round 1 and then offense in the middle of the round.  Besides Fournette, do you see any offensive players being taken if we don't trade back?

So, basically, he is at least fourth on the totem pole.

I know Fournette and Thomas are in front of him. I wonder who the third person is...

If Gettleman is just beginning defensive players' tape, how is it that you, or anyone, knows his choices yet?

    • Damn I liked A'Shawn too. This is basically a heads up we're planning on cutting you move.  Robinson wasn't the best but I loved his attitude and effort on the field. He held that entire dline together when Brown went down iirc..granted we finished that season as the worst rushing defense in modern NFL history.  If Wharton would have performed up to atleast half of his salary last season, I'd feel a little better about it. We do need that cap space though.
    • 13. Carolina is coming. The Panthers are well thought of around the league. Their "process" seems sound. I think their off-season will be very interesting to keep an eye on. They made the playoffs, but they're not yet knocking on the door. (Offense was 26th in EPA/play.) I think it's imperative they don't overestimate where they are in their build. They can't throw a ton of money around in FA to "make a run now". They need to be intentional about building a solid foundation. (IMO) And from what I know about the team... I think they will be. Sidenote: I have my eye on offense there, not defense. They HAVE to leave next season with a strong opinion on Bryce Young. They need to put pieces around him to do that. Can't be left wondering what he would have looked like with "better OL play" or "more pass catchers". They have to know. (That part is purely my opinion. No one told me that.) https://x.com/lindsay_rhodes/status/2027212533417869499?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
    • Because this DL is completely reliant on Brown being available and being a stud. Without him we were the worst D in history. The Wharton signing last year reeked of desperation. He just isn't a great fit for us schematically and I think we panicked a little bit when we missed out on Milton Williams who would have been a great fit.
