Ginn Jr. is quite under appreciated on this board for some reason. Filling his shoes is the biggest void remaining this offseason. I'm sorry but not sold that CJ2 or Shepard have this ability.

2 Best draft candidates here are. Davis and Ross.

Davis is 6'3 210.

Ross is 5'11 190

Here's a reminder of what we got from Ginn the last 2 seasons.

Davis Highlights:

You are acting like the main consideration is to replace Ginn, who of course is known for his speed. That being said, John Ross is the better fit if all you're looking for is speed. The thing is, Corey Davis may be the more prototypical receiver and many believe he has WR1 upside. And, like I've said before, I mean a true WR1 in terms of the whole of the NFL. Now if that is anywhere near true, then Davis will fit anywhere.

As much as I like the thought of Ross, I just don't care to watch him every snap, thinking that if he gets hit, or makes the wrong cut it's gonna end his season. He pulled up lame after his 40. I just can't get over that. All that being said, if we make a move to acquire him, I'll be excited. But I'd still hate to see Davis become a top 10 receiver in the league, knowing that we passed on him.

I'm looking for the total package. I've been on the Davis bandwagon all offseason. So we are on the same page

He's a top 3 for me. Fournette, Davis, Adams are who I like at 8.

Corey Davis has replaced Derek Anderson as the most overhyped player on this board.

He's the best WR in a class full of WR2s. Only guy with WR1 ceiling imo. Even better than Mike Williams as far as potential in the NFL.

    • Over previous years? Sure is 😆
    • An odd little vibe I've noticed here of late: some folks are "all or nothing" to an absolutely extreme level when it comes to Bryce. Here's a bit of truth telling though: There are, in fact, things Bryce does well. Likewise, there are areas in which he's improved over his time here. He has, on several occasions now, legitimately helped us win games. On the flipside, there have been failures in other areas as well as coaching that we're not in any way his fault.  And finally , it is also genuinely possible that the team may see him as the future, even if we don't. The craziest part, though? It's actually possible that they're right and we're wrong. All of this is true, and more, yet if you accept any of these premises people go from zero to apesh-t in under three seconds 😳 Anything less than total disavowal of Bryce and / or agreement that he's the worst QB of all time and suddenly you're a "stan". Oy 🙄 The reality though?  Bryce is indeed an NFL quarterback. Not a great one, probably backup level good, and I've seen way worse. Now, if you run that statement through your personal Google translator and it comes back with some version of "I want to throw 50 million a year at Bryce for the next 10 years", that's not really my issue it's yours  I don't wanna make him the franchise quarterback, but it's not my call. Win or lose, the team is going to do what they think is best. And as always, if it disagrees with what I think we should do, I'm gonna hope I'm the one who's wrong. Internet clout means nothing. Watching my favorite team win at my favorite sport meas fun 😁
