This marriage between us and coaching staff should've ended this offseason but next year, it's the mediation session. You know, see if we can work it out.

That won't happen. Most GMs get to pick thier coach but Gman didn't. If Jerry is willing to give Rivera a chance to turn it around expect the same curtisy being given to Gettleman with his own coaching staff.

If Shula was going off of habit, the Panthers would have been built around a power running game like every other team he coached before Carolina. This zone read stuff is all about Cam Newton, not Shula's philosophy.
