The only film noir aspect was the lack of color. Film noir by definition is "a style or genre of cinematographic film marked by a mood of pessimism, fatalism, and menace". Those negatives only apply if your team isn't the Panthers.

I think Cam keeps throwing with wrong footwork because he's athletic enough to often get away with it. QB's with consistent footwork often have an easier time getting there because they've found out early on that they need good technique to get the pass on target.

No film student me. Just old enough to have seen a bunch of old movies.

I hope the recovery process gives Cam the opportunity to throw lots and lots of short passes. Dumping it off to new guys Shepard, Samuel, and CMC needs to be done often and accurately.
