That's a fans prospective. Dave is here to win not coddle players. You get paid to perform and Smith was ok just taking money and doing nothing.

Employers can do anything they want.  You could work somewhere for 40 years and they could fire you with the same gratitude and respect as someone who worked there 2 weeks.  Employers choice.  I don't argue that.

89 wasn't Dave's guy either or Ron's....

but that doesn't mean Dave and Rob handled it well....even if they had he right to do whatever.

I don't care really.  Too much is made of it. 89 is the same regardless to me.

This is how everyone should be. I'm not mad at him or at Dave. They had a falling out. He'll come back once Dave is gone, no biggie. Dave is 350 pounds. He won't be here forever haha

Agreed.

I guess I'm just feeling like Smith at the moment. I don't care at the moment. I might care later on, but now meh...

It's probably best if everyone doesn't care until Dave is gone. It's a moot point until then

JR is like a second father to 89.

I would never allow a "brother" (in this case, Gettleman) I didn't get along with keep me away from my "father" (in this case, Richardson).

If Smitty's attitude is that nursing a grudge in defense of a small instance of his professional "pride" is more important that what you describe as his "second father", well then... that says a lot, doesn't it?

If Smith is how "petty," exactly? Read what he said again.

"It's really not on my radar today. If it comes about, I'll think about it."

That's all he said. Stop trying to read so much into it.

OP said he has the feeling will if Gettleman is gone. PF then responded to OP by saying *if* Steve Smith was that petty *then* he could go fug himself.

He never said he is being petty based off his quotes in the article.

Honestly with Smith there was no good way. You could argue Norman with me though.

Gettleman isn't going anywhere anytime soon. So if Smitty is that petty, then he can go fug himself. He always claims to be the bigger man but he's really not. He allows emotion to get in the way all the time. So be it, Smitty. I'll see you retire as a Panther when you're 50.

Over react much?

Some serious slander in this thread about one of the greatest Panthers ever. Can't blame him for being a bit cautious after the way he was chased out because the suits had a new toy to play with. Now that their shiny Wonder Woman action figure is a bust, Smitty's just waiting for an appropriate moment where it won't look like an "I told you so."

You have mentioned wonder woman in every one of your racist and bitter posts hating on Cam. You must really like that movie. Get some new material. Or better yet, go talk Panthers with the rest of the good ol boys at your next rally and leave us alone
