You are just coming to this conclusion? Its been time for three seasons.

I would like to say he is saving the real game plan for the regular season but the realistic side of me says Shula has nothing else to give.

It's also preseason and CMC is kind of a running back...  he's going to get tackled. 

Not defending Shula, just saying...  and as proof I'm not on the dark side, I've made this same thread in regards to how they've used Cam every year.  Let's see how it looks week 1...

Im not gonna bash Shula too hard for some vanilla play calling in the first preseason game. Shula sucks yes, but this is basic play calling. If this happens in the first real game than yes, Shula is going to get him killed.

So what exactly is the problem? He's a running back who carried the ball on a running play. How in the hell do you bash the OC for that?

This is football.  It is a physical sport.  Men hit other men.  Tackling can sometimes hurt.  RB is one of the most physicals positions.  Get it?

 

btw...CMC is averaging like 5 years a carry.

It's crazy to see even those gut runs he's getting better yards than the other guys. It's like either the o-line is playing harder for CMC or he's really that much quicker. Guys are coming in and hitting him but never beating him to the punch. Pretty cool.
