our oline has been looking great so far with these two preseason games . i think its even an upgrade over our 2015 line as well , kalil has been playing good , big dwill looking good and larsen and moton looking like solid back ups!. this is also without the leader of our offensive line ryan kalil once he plays our oline is going to be even better. looking forward to a great offensive season .

Khalil and Williams have looked very very solid against above average competition! Moton looks like a home run at this point albeit he's been playing significant time at guard, but that level of versatility can't be understated! As a whole we are averaging over 6 yards a carry right now, unheard of in the preseason for us, as even in our great years we typically have struggled on the ground during preseason.

I can't wait to see that YPC go up even more once we release the full repertoire of CMC plays. (insert Shula joke here)

Yea i think that's another fact lost in the excitement of just having football back is the vanilla playbook, lack of true gameplanning and the portion of the playbook we won't see until reg season. Preseason is the epipatmy of the cliche phrase "its not about the x's and the O's, but the johnnies and the joes"

    • Lil Stanky 100% in the dot tonight... And our 2nd line has been our best offensive line this season. Maybe our 2C really was on the roster this whole time...?
    • That’s a grade I kind of expected tbh. I’m not a huge fan of NS, but he’s not as bad as what the huddle says he is minus the horrible game he had vs the Rams. I’ve always thought he’s often used as a scapegoat. The improved pass rush should hide his deficiencies a little bit better if he’s the game one starter. FS might have to be a position we punt on this year unless Thieneman falls to us at 19. The reality is, you're going to have a few average players in certain spots for a team with as many holes we had before free agency started. You can’t sign everyone.
    • I am by no means trying to say he's a world beater. I'm saying it's trending in the right direction. Especially when measured against himself.i think the team feel the same way or else they wouldn't have picked up his option. Plus I think there is a new idea in the NFL about these young QBs. Teams give up to soon. Browns gave up to soon on baker same with the jets on Geno and darnold. Maybe they are who you thought they were in the draft process and they need more time to develop than you originally planned. Either way. I do think he is as capable as darnold is as far as you can win a championship with him. And something he does have that darnold doesn't is he is clutch.  If I need one more drive and 2 mins to go I'm betting on Bryce and I am far from a homer, just going off his game winning drives. He has that dog in him on the last drive.
