How many bottles of cough syrup does Mixon drink before going on air?

I had to watch the Jaguars broadcast since I live right near the Florida border... my lord, you want to talk about DEPRESSING announcers?  Mark Brunell is one of them.  At one point when Chad Henne had 14 yards passing and 14 rushing yards, they said something like "Well the passing yards aren't likely where Chad wanted them, but you've got to be impressed with his decision making."

That is one defeated crew down in Jax.

I live 30 miles from WCCB's broadcast tower and yet I had no signal for the game.    Thank God they don't televise any of the regular games. 99% of online streams were the Jags broadcast with only 1 that was out of Greensboro but it kept freezing up. Then I found one that was the Jags video feed with the radio crew audio, Eugene Robinson and Jim Skoze (sp). :omg: Not synced at all and the video was so far behind the audio that I knew the play and if it worked before they even snapped the ball in the video. Even so it worked for me cause I like those two and did not have to listen to Mixon. :100_Emoji_42x42:

Agreed, and I think the Duke guy is better as well.  Or at least he was the last time I listened to him, (many years ago).

In my humble opinion, the Wake play by play commentator (Stan Cotten) is the best, and I am glad they didn't hire him. Of course, I may be a bit biased.

Bob Harris (Duke play by play guy).

We'll probably get Jim Szoke whenever Mixon retires, which will still be a hell of an upgrade.

Mick's attempt at comedy is a bust. Eugene, however (especially when he "looses it") is funny as hell. " You've got to line up, punch that guy in the the tooth, and legally take his lunch money!"

Eugene Robinson is great.  Mixon is horrible.  Every time I have to hear him talking about ample boobies or robust behinds I feel like I should be contacting the FCC or filing EO charges or something.

the great thing about Eugene is that you can always tell his word of the week.

I love Eugene as a commentator.  His enthusiasm is much appreciated, and the way he expresses himself is 100% more relatable than Creeper Mixon.  He's always entertaining.

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
