3rd and 15 ... ugh, a screen pass...

HOLY POO IT ACTUALLY WORKED WITH NO HOLDING CALL

BTW, this was a failed play with Fozzy or anyone else back there. If CMC is nearly caught by the LBers, you can bet your sweet hiney Fozzy or CAP would have been tackled short.

How good is CMC? He can actually make the dreaded Mike Shula 3rd and 15 screen pass work. Amazing.

"Hey Mike, I noticed that screen play hasn't worked for like 5 years.  Think we should maybe consider ripping that one out of the playbook?"

"Nah, you guys just wait.  All we need is a generational talent at the RB position and you'll see how great my play-calling is."

Looks like he could have taken it to the house if he cuts left at the first down line.

I noticed that about several plays with CMC. It seems he was always just one block, or different cutting lane away from taking it to the house. I guarantee it happens this coming weekend.

    • Only thing I really see it doing is possibly making Tepper listen if a different play caller can't run the offense because of limitations. New hire, someone who hasn't been watching Bryce for the past 3 years up close may be able to talk some sense if he sees that he isn't able to get the job done.

    • Not sure there is anything that will do that outside of Young actually being a legit top 12 QB. Where he won’t need excuses made for him.  It is just as likely to multiply them.
