Some Players where Scared last week | Expect Panthers to come with Fire

I can actually understand that. I wish JR would have told them to just leave politics at the door and come play. Every team I have ever coached there was some controversy. My statement was always the same. You're all here because you love this sport and we need to leave the drama at the door.

*drops ball*

"Damn I wasn't able to take a knee today"

*Misses tackle*

"Stupid military state made him juke me"

*Whiffs on assignment*

"My name is Matt Kalil"

I'm sure we all want to protest things but when we go to work you have to put that aside and do your job. I support their right to show displeasure with the current state of things but focus for 3 hours and win the game then protest.

Panthers corner Captain Munnerlyn on the importance of getting the green light from team owner Jerry Richardson to protest if it chooses. "That's the guy who writes my checks and that's how I feed my family. But at the same time you want to be a man and you want to stand up for something. You might be a little nervous and a little scared but at the same time he basically was letting the guys know yesterday that you don't have to be. I'm behind you. If you decide to do this, I'm behind you."
