Well, are you a POWER RUN TEAM only when the opposing team empties the box?  Hell, I thought a "power run team" was all about IMPOSING your will, not responding (and failing) to circumstances.

In another thread, KevinGreene posted the plays and results of the game's last 3 drives.  In those 3 drives, Carolina ran the ball up the middle to Stewart on 6 out of 8 1st/2nd downs for a total of 9 yards.

I've begun to call the Rivera/Shula philosophy the Run/Run/"Save us again, Cam!" Method of Power Run.

I think this game like many others in the past is showing that Cam thrives in a pass first offense.  

We win plenty with the power run mentality but man, when Cam is in his element, he just picks apart teams with those seam plays.

The run plays were absolutely terrible calls. So predictable.

We can get away with these numbers now but not in the playoffs. Need to get better if we want to win a slogfest.

We run at some very very predictable times....and it leads to us getting a lot of stuffed running plays plus the Lions front 4 is pretty damn good.

The run wasn't working so we had major success passing.  It isn't like you have to pass for 400 and run for 600 every game.
