It doesnt matter who starts. Dumb premise. They both play a ton of snaps. Neither of them can run because our blocking schemes are failing.

Fix the blocking and the yards will come.

to add to this, CM actually plays significantly more snaps than Stewart.  68% vs 43% for Stewart.

i think the blocking schemes and the situations that we choose to run in that needs to change.

Right because anyone could have run better than Stewart into the penetration that defense coming through our line like water,...

did anyone else watch the gifs Jeremy posted?

How was anyone supposed to get positive yards while we refuse to use smoke and perimeter plays?

i like McCaffrey, but you run him like Stewart and he's going to be on IR fast.

What happens if the same thing continues to CMC?

I still think Stewart is our best option for the type of running we do and give CMC his chances but as you can see CMC takes some big hits on runs. He is such a weapon lined out. I think he will only get better as a tailback but he is what 23? When Stewart is healthy he is a great great NFL asset. I think its more on how we use both of them and our offense play calling.

It seems more times than not the defense knows exactly whats coming with our runs and have 3 or 4 players ALWAYS in the backfield.

I would say Stew has had more contact at the point of handoff than any other NFL back.

We have Armah sitting out 99.9 percent of the plays.

It also seems we don't prepare for certain D linemen who are not average. Did we ever try to slow down Fletcher Cox? Did we ever plan for Von Miller?

It seems one defensive player on the opposite team can take over and repeat their success all game because we never adjust. Its stubborn poo.

CMC isn’t a robot.

McCaffery is much more valuable to us in the passing game. Why tire him out running behind this trash OL?

Until the OL is fixed (which seems like they won’t ever get right) there’s no point in upping McCaffery’s carries and tiring him out to the point he’s not effective in the passing game.
