7 weeks into the year, every division is wide open.

At this point, Saints appear to be in the best position, heading forward. Toughest stretch of the schedule has already been played. Saints are the favorite.

A lot of football left to be played.  Fortunately, the Panthers squeaked out a couple wins to start the year that could have easily gone the other direction.

I don't think this team is as bad off as many on this forum think.  The team looked shell shocked after giving up 14 points in two plays and every other team would have looked the same with the exception of maybe a Tom Brady led Patriots.  

The Panthers biggest issue is turnovers.  No team can consistently win the in NFL with turnovers.  If the Panthers quit turning the ball over, they'll finish strong this year and will make a deep playoff run.

This season looks a little like 2014.  But if the Saints keep winning, it may be more like 2015 except with them at the top instead of us. 

 

But things change quickly in the NFL, so who knows what might happen.

we shouldn't have to rely on other teams to lose to keep us in. We are losing games that we have no business losing. We do not deserve to go to the playoffs. We deserve to lose out and have every one fired and real changes made. That is the outcome I would prefer at this point.
