Forget OUR feelings, what kind of message does this send to the TEAM!?

Here we sit at 5-3 with an already anemic offense that can't run the ball whatsoever, and the team trades away the #1 WR on the roster!

Did they think Cam couldn't overcome locking in on him?

whats the defense to think?

We know Cam is gonna be livid especially after what was said in his post game presser in TB.

I can not beleive this ish

He wasn't going to be worth the 8.5MM he was due next season, and I guess talks for a more reasonable extension weren't going anywhere. I'd be frustrated too, but I can also see why management would want to cut bait.

Okay but why trade him away midway through a playoff looking season? Also he was the only player who has really made any kind of plays this season on offense (even it they were limited). Fire GM before TC, Trade away #1 WR halfway through a 5-3 season for two draft picks that will waste away on the bench

They clearly thought the marginal benefit isn't worth the assets they've gained. Remains to be seen, of course, but Cam has exploded without KB before. Wouldn't shock me if offensive output stays more or less the same, post-trade.

I dunno. Cam has tunnel vision with Benjamin because he can catch his overthrown passes.  This will force cam to make better decisions with his passes.

Cam plays better without KB. I am ready for Sunday. I am thinking Shepard shows his potential. Hopefully, Samual gets more involved as well. More opportunities for guys to step up and I believe they will.

This isn't madden, you can't just turn the trade deadline off and do it later

    • I don't think it's a homer though when I really feel this team can beat anyone.  The points that can be scored in bunches when the big three are on has high potential.  Moose has effort for days and IMO is the heart of the team.  And didn't see Miles becoming the team "vet" in the starting lineup just roleplaying lol.   We have to limit the turnovers though (Brandon Miller I'm looking at you bud, you are a bad ball handler) and some little things.   Colby off the bench is a cheat code and him and Kaulk have a nice little game going with the picks.    Sion playing every game and just getting better each game.  He has grit.  Grant and Green also grit.  We need replace Tillman with PJ Hall though.  Tillman looks like someone that shouldn't be on an NBA court, or at least with this team, he's just too slow for this tempo.   Even McNeely looked decent tonight and can drive.   If Kaulk and Moose could even be like 30% 3pt shooters man....
    • 1.) LaMelo 2.) Kon 3.} Miller 4.. Giannis 5.) Moose   1.) Coby 2.) ? 3.) Sion 4.) Miles Bridges 5.) Kalk That squad would win multiple chips.
