Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Aaron Rodgers (collarbone, injured reserve) is making "really good progress."
"I know the training staff and the strength and conditioning staff are very pleased with where he is," McCarthy said. "He's moving right along." After getting in some rehab work on the field Wednesday, it looks like Rodgers is on track to return when first eligible in Week 15. Nov 16 - 11:39 AM

Still not so sure he'll return if they're mathematically eliminated but if he does it turns a lock of a game into a bigger question mark. Still, could see something like Romo on Thanksgiving so not concerned but before this week I had thought the possibility of him returning was essentially non-existent. Think this affects our playoff hopes?

Didn't they lose their starting LT last week?

Not sure the exact injury situations of their tackles but I remember against Atlanta both starting tackles were out, and one came back and got hurt again like a week or two after that but yeah that was an issue for them all year so far.

he won't return if they are out of the playoff hunt.  I get them not ruling him out if they were.  So there statement makes sense.  Plan on him returning to lead GB into the playoffs.  That is what you sell your team.  Give Aaron a chance.

that said, GB will be out of the hunt by week 15

    • If you need someone to run your multi-billion dollar business, maaayyyybe don't hire a guy whose previous work experience includes repeated blows to the head and literal brain damage but IDK.
    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
    • I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
