If Wentz is out, which NFC team is clearly better than us besides the Saints?

I actually think we're a closer matchup with the Saints than many of you may believe. It took us fumbling a punt, fumbling a punt attempt, Devin barely being out of bounds on an onside kick, a terrible missed neutral zone infraction, and a dumb penalty by peppers for the saints to sneak out a win against us.

Also it's just flat out hard to beat a team three times in the same season. I really do think we will win if we play them again. If we can block Cam Jordan and find a band aid solution for Kamara I like our odds

We're a good match up with them if we can defend the run like we're capable of. Payton seemed like he forgot Kamara was on the team for a bit in the second quarter in that game

I think we *could* beat the Saints and it's definitely hard to beat a team 3 times in one year, hasn't happened often in NFL history. However, it's also very hard to make the case that you're better than a team that swept you and beat you both times by double digits.

That's only the Saints though. The case can be made that we're better than all the rest.

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
