I really have to question his judgment if he thought the skins were ever going to compete for a championship. Surely he had offers from a better team ..maybe not for the same money but if a ring is that important to him and not the money like he says the skins should have been at the bottom of the list

Gettleman royally fuged us with that Kalil contract . Now that we have so much money tied into Kalil and the dline AND have to resign Norwell , it's unlikely we'd be able to afford him .

If we could afford him ? I think he's worth a first rounder honestly , especially since we'll have a low first anyway . He makes our secondary much much better , all we'd have to worry about is getting a good young DE somewhere in the draft .

yeah he chased a paycheck, so what

the odds of being drafted out of a program like coastal carolina in the first place and then getting a shot at a once in a lifetime mega deal like what washington offered him are incredibly slim

I don't blame him for chasing the money in the slightest. But saying you went to that team to win a championship is the part we're laughing at

that dumbass elevator skit thing he did made me question his judgment, he got real full of himself late in 2015.

Skins can actually cut Josh this offseason and save money.  Sure, there will be dead money, but his contract is not fully guaranteed if he is cut before the new league year starts.

I hope they cut him.  And I hope we sign him.

Don’t disagree if the price is right.  Experience at corner will mix nice with Ronnie Harrison and/or another young safety.

so we're hoping that Daeshon Hall is our pass rusher of the future? Or we're going to get some mid round steal this draft and get another DE? Cuz we're getting pretty old at DE .

We should welcome Josh back with open arms if the possibility presents itself.  He really deserves a lot of credit for the swagger we had on D in 15.

I think he'd be ecstatic to play for Wilks, who hopefully would still be here in that case, because Wilks is the one who helped polish him into a diamond.

Yes.

    • I think you should see the OP for pretty big reasons why that is a completely incorrect take given this is a Dave Canales team.
    • TMac is a good player and would've been the right pick if our QB could throw a ball farther than 40 yards. For this team's current build (run first, game management passing attack) and the fact that our TE's are laughably bad - the five on our roster have combined for less than 600 yards total, with 3 TDs - Warren should've been the pick.
    • If anyone feels like they can't have a conversation about Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career maybe assess why and how these conversations end this way instead of looking to shoot the messenger. Why is it okay to label anyone else on the team or coaching staff trash? Folks on the huddle and across the fanbase on social media have fully thrown anyone and everyone including rookie 8th overall pick TMac fully under the bus multiple times this season. But some of you guys apparently expect a pat on the back because Bryce Young successfully evaded a few potential sacks while Tyler Shough got consumed by our pass rush throughout the game and still had a superior performance. The state of this division is hilariously mediocre at best. Bryce Young is the only player on this roster who is allowed to have the lowest bar possible yet we have invested the most resources in him. It's lunacy.
