JNo not happy could he come back?

Just a fair warning JNO turns 30 on Friday. So he'd be 30 in his season coming back here and be 31 by the time when we started going on what I assume is a deep playoff run next year haha. He wont have many super high production years left in him, I'm guessing he could play well till hes 34 or 35 if we're lucky. But he's already aging out of his prime, thats a huge factor in whether a team want to shell out the big bucks for a 30 yr old CB that hasn't been that great on the Redskins and had one great season with us.

He’s going to be cut this offseason.

He has a huge cap hit in Washington.

We’ve gone over this several times, I think him coming back is a no brainer

Exactly this has been foreseeable for a while now. If not this upcoming offseason, definitely the next one. But yeah probably this one.

so we're hoping that Desean Hall is our pass rusher of the future? Or we're going to get some mid round steal this draft and get another DE? Cuz we're getting pretty old at DE .

Gregory McKarl Hardy of course.

Obviously DE must be addressed.  If Pep retires, then great news, we won the Super Bowl!!, but we may indeed have to reach in FA/draft/trade for additional help.

And yes, we cannot afford Hall to be a total bust.  He was the compensation (comp pick) for letting JNo go ironically.

He will likely be cut this offseason as a June 1....he will only count 4.5M per season over the next two if thats what happens.

He will also be a 30 year old CB coming off an average season.  If he wants to play here, he can, but the price will have to be right...we cannot afford a top CB right now, and he won't be able to command top dollar...unless he goes to a bad team.

no way we can afford his contract.  We're in cap trouble again this off season, and may not even be

able to resign Star or Norwell.  Don't even think about trying to handle Josh's contract, even though we'd all love to have him back.

sorry but if we had to sacrifice Star or Norwell to have Norman back, I'd get rid of one of them in a heart beat.

He didn't pick washington to win a championship..  he picked it cuz of the money and that's all

Exactly... It's easy for him to say that now, and I'm sure he's legitimately frustrated.  Now that he has the money, he realizes how bad it sucks being on the outside looking in year after year with the Redskins.  He's not the 1st player to sign with the Redskins that feels that way, and he won't be the last.

Bottom line though is he made no bones about wanting to get paid top CB money.  That was what drove him.  And honestly, I don't blame him- that was his one shot to get life changing money.  But it is sour grapes to act differently now.  I love JNo and will always, but I certainly don't feel the least bit sorry for him.

    • I think you should see the OP for pretty big reasons why that is a completely incorrect take given this is a Dave Canales team.
    • TMac is a good player and would've been the right pick if our QB could throw a ball farther than 40 yards. For this team's current build (run first, game management passing attack) and the fact that our TE's are laughably bad - the five on our roster have combined for less than 600 yards total, with 3 TDs - Warren should've been the pick.
    • If anyone feels like they can't have a conversation about Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career maybe assess why and how these conversations end this way instead of looking to shoot the messenger. Why is it okay to label anyone else on the team or coaching staff trash? Folks on the huddle and across the fanbase on social media have fully thrown anyone and everyone including rookie 8th overall pick TMac fully under the bus multiple times this season. But some of you guys apparently expect a pat on the back because Bryce Young successfully evaded a few potential sacks while Tyler Shough got consumed by our pass rush throughout the game and still had a superior performance. The state of this division is hilariously mediocre at best. Bryce Young is the only player on this roster who is allowed to have the lowest bar possible yet we have invested the most resources in him. It's lunacy.
