Cam da man.

Great find.  The article makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.  Cam is the JOY that the NFL lacks.  I hope we can enjoy this ride for a long time, and with a TON of success.  Cam is so much fun out there.  I hope there are more of these kinds of moments on the way to victory.

We are so lucky Andrew Luck stayed another year LOL =)

Ive heard someone say this and ive always thought this as well..

If Cam Newton was in the NBA he'd be one of the biggest athletes on the planet.

We have Colin Cowerd speaking to an entire west coast of a massive country like Cam is just some average run through. he's no Andrew luck!!! Carson Wentz is now lumped with Tom, Big Ben, Rodgers, Brees on his show.

We have FOX panels of ex NFL players that dismiss him, say he's just a runner and won't last, that he don't have a coach or WRs and he don't make his shotty WRs good therefore he's not Brady.

Its funny how some peoples past just disappears, but some are carried forever. People will still bring up Cams college days.. I look at the comments when NFL or bleacher report or a big sports media post Cams highlights or stats. Its Cheatin Cam, Cash Check Cam, oh he didn't jump on the football in the super bowl. I don't know what will it take for the sports world to respect the man.

We have one big sports star who supports him and thats Steph Curry.. even that is downplayed outside of Charlotte. But James puts on a Dak jersey and its first story 5 pm.  I don't get the hate to the point to dismiss him.

    • Word is that Lawrence showed up and weighed in at nearly 400 pounds for his Bengals medical check. I'd find a reason to fail him. Blood type tested as bacon grease. Fail. We've all seen what happens when a dominant huge, explosive DT can't manage his weight. You're gonna age like milk. Looking like Kris Jenkins 2.0.
    • Hard to interpret some of Brugler's opinions. Capable of running a robust route tree sounds like a lazy thing to say - I'm sure just about every slot TE is capable of running a full route tree... I want to know if he is currently able to (which from tape leads me to a no). Granted, it's pretty common for most receivers/TE not having a full route tree developed before they get drafted. Agility/acceleration after the catch hasn't shown up on his tape (at least his Oregon tape) for those dig/out breaking routes while it has for the seam and slant routes. Agree he has a good physical build and he is very good running seam routes. His build definitely helps him to shield defenders and create a large target point for the QB. Drops were a concern, but it could be focus drops just like T-Mac was/is prone to. Run blocking is an accurate statement, but again, we have only seen him run block in the slot/backfield - inline blocking is a whole different animal. With his athleticism, he definitely has a high ceiling. I just think he also has a low floor and don't like taking that big of a risk on a mid 1st rounder. I think this is a deep TE draft and would much rather target one in the 3rd or later. He's very boom or bust to me - bust in terms of being worth a 1st round pick, not an out of the NFL in a few years type bust. I feel like he gives me Evan Engram vibes. Not saying that Evan Engram was/is a bad NFL player, just that most people would agree he shouldn't have been drafted in the 1st.
