Lots of negatives for everyone not named Cam, but...

As a team we never gave up the fight, even with them likely being the better team in many aspects. We fought hard to the very end and never folded. Was glad to see that as it would’ve been easy as hell to throw in the towel at many different points in the game. Decent silver lining.

Even though Funchess dropped that last throw that could've won the game for us, I still got to commend him for playing through with one arm.

His left shoulder was clearly hurt all game and I think it affected him a lot. Kudos to him for at least toughening through that and making plays earlier against Lattimore.

I can only hope tonight was finally the eye opener for whoever is in charge to go “hmm maybe I should sign some actual WR’s”.

If tonight needed to happen for the above to happen then so damn well be it. Already wasted 6 years of Cam’s career what’s one more. Give the man WR’s and win the SB in years 8 and 9

Earlier I thought we’d be screwed next year, we may be ok. Resign Norwell and most of this team is back next year. We need a safety wr and de and we could be fine.

We cant afford to resign Norwell.

We sunk enough money into the line at some point someone needs to step in and play, maybe that’s where Moton comes in.

Norwell’s money would be better off spent on WR’s

Agreed. I've been as critical of Funchess as anyone but I'm very happy with his development this year.

WRs and Shula were 100% to blame for all red zone struggles and inability to score at end of the game. Cam followed up his dud with by far the best game any QB could’ve played under the circumstances. And Wilks is frankly just terrible, can’t wait until some idiot billionaire and GM hire him to get him outta here. Our secondary isnt good but the defensive coaching was terrible this year. We blitzed half the damn plays and still didn’t get pressure.

god no norwell's the best player on offense not named cam. letting him go would get cam killed with matt kalil getting no help.

norwell should be a top tier priority, even above receivers. paul richardson and sammy watkins likely could be affordable options anyways.

Tag him, restructure some others and get rid of M Kalil and go in for SB this year. Watkins and/or Crabtree, fire Shula, get safety help in draft

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
