Speculative thread: Was Ron On Board With This, or Was It Strictly A Hurney Decision?

I'd be interested to find out.  I have a feeling it was purely Hurney.  Ron is a very loyal guy, and I don't see him ever firing one of his coaches, let alone two, unless it came from up top.

...and if it was Hurney, give the man some mother effing credit.  Boss ass move.  We've been waiting for 5 years!

Ron and Mike have been together since 2013, Ron has seen firsthand the terrible calls and decisions Mike made over and over. Now Hurney returns and all of a sudden Mike isn’t good enough anymore...

It was either Hurney on his own or both of them trying to impress new ownership... I’m 100% certain Ron keeps Mike if JR is still around

    • Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.
    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
