I'm very excited about our offensive coordinator not being Mike Shula.

As to Norv, this isn't his first rodeo. He's done this before, and done it well.

I'm ready to call myself optimistic for the first time in a while.

I think a new perspective is needed.  Is the change dramatic?  No. I think it’s nuance that can turn this offense and personnel into a more efficient unit rather than a complete overhaul of the scheme. 

 

I think the the board has transformed Norv into Shula /Jeff Davidson and I don’t think that’s a correct assessment of the situation.

I find it hard to get excited about a guy who's greatest success was around the end of the George Bush presidency.  The first one, not the second one.  And who quit in the middle of his last job.  But I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

Also, who gives a crap about how prestigious he is?  Prestige has never, ever won a Superbowl.
