Carolina Panthers Employee Kills Her Kids, 7 and 3, Before Jumping off Interstate Bridge

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police identified the deceased as 34-year-old Christina Treadway, her 7-year-old son Isaiah Miller, and her 3-year-old daughter Iliyah Miller.

After the deaths of his children, the father wrote on a GoFundMe page, “My kids were my everything I truly don’t know how my life will go on.”

I was unaware that ticket takers were Panther employees..this kinda feels like a cheap way to try to tie this awful situation in with the Panthers.

Makes for a better headline for sales...

    • One of his handful of good games... If he can ever get to a consistently high level, then he'd change minds. As it is... Meh.
    • People are also jumping to the conclusion that Darnold would have figured it out here. I very much disagree. He needed a place where he could be a backup for a while with no pressure. So all the pining over him was pointless. Highly unlikely he would do anything but continue to fail had he stayed here. The one that got away was Baker. He was not as bad as he seemed here. He was always a good player but we were a two bit, middle of the road college program grasping at straws. Had we invested the time in Baker that we have done for Bryce, history would have been quite a bit different. To what end, who knows? Doesn't matter. There are a million hindsight stories that are very unkind to this franchise. There is no one that is more significant than the other. It is what it is.
    • He’s a serviceable starter for us that doesn’t cost much. The reason he doesn’t cost much is that he has flaws, one of which appears to be catching the ball.  It would be good to have a better corner opposite JC but he’s not at the top of the list when it comes to people we need to upgrade.
