I'm more concerned about the knee damage they said cam has. Surprised there's no thread on that yet

That caught my eye too.

The Panthers have previously stated certain things were no big deal...until they were.

I'd rather this not be a repeat of that.

What a novel concept, don't jump to conclusions without facts. If that were enforced here, it would eliminate 95% of all postings.

So it must be a cover-up at least to folks who think we ignored Cam's symptoms just to keep him out there and don't care if he gets hurt or not. As if the Panthers would jeopardize a 20 million dollar yearly investment and the lynchpin of the offense.

Didn't you say in another thread that you don't know why we might look at FA RBs like Hill or Hyde (former way cheaper than Stewart and latter likely cheaper)? That's why we need to look at replacing Stewart in FA or in the draft. No guarantee you get the RB you like in the draft (we won't be drafting one in the 1st) in 2nd through 7th.

CMC did take a large step in the second half at 4.7 ypc, but we still didn't give him a ton of carries. That said, he still had 197 touches, so he was used. I'd like to see at least 10 carries a game plus 5-6 catches a game, but that still leaves room for a "competent" RB to also see another 10-15 carries. I don't think CMC should be getting 200+ carries and close to 100 receptions. You just can't run that many routes (113 targets plus all the routes we know he wasn't targeted on) and have enough gas for 20 carriers a game.

We didn't draft him to be a receiver.

We drafted him to help our QB in the run game.

Did he, or didn't he?
