I suggested that he might in another thread.  Not sure how I feel about it, but I would rather have a cover FS who can't tackle than a tackling FS that cannot cover.

In all honesty he really had a good season for the Chargers. 

Wouldn't mind giving him another shot.

Just makes me wonder what has made him good all of the sudden. I know he had the tools to be good but why wasn’t he succeeding here before? Did he need to be cut to light a fire under his ass?

He had flashes, but never built on consistency. At the time, it wasn't that dumb to cut him.

However, he started being more consistent and better at playing safety. That translated pretty well for the Chargers. After all, Tre Boston still is fairly young in the NFL and still had potential to grow.
